Activity Based Working – Implementation through change management
Based on our extensive international experience with Activity Based Working, we created a process model to introduce and develop Activity Based Working for our clients. We always strive to flexible and effective way of working. This is done in four steps. The last two steps are interactively explained in this part of the course: the implementation, evaluation & evolution phases.
The implementation of the workplace concept is done through change management and co facilitation by guidance of all employees towards a change in their new way of working. The change at organizational level, in particular for leaders and managers is to learn how to lead mobile teams. Working remotely is based on trust. The change for individuals is introduced by an example of brain friendly working based on neuroscience. The day in a life simulation presents a little more about how activity based working is facilitated in practice. The evaluation submits what research insights about pre and post ABW implementations can teach us. How about working remotely? How about managing remotely? What is the impact of the organizational change? What is the impact on the individual? What does research about pre and post ABW implementations tell us? To answer these relevant questions examples of change management will be provided and interactive discussions will follow.
